John’s current projects include: Owner and C.O.O. of A&M Management, majority member of Deano’s Grill & Tapworks, Oak & Pie, & Stearman Airfield Bar & Grill. John studied finance at the University of Oklahoma from 1994-1998 & began his career with Hal Smith Restaurant Group (HSRG). He started at Charleston’s in Oklahoma & became the managing partner of Redrock Canyon Grill in Wichita from 2001-2014. John was the 2013 Chairman of the Board for the Kansas Restaurant & Hospitality Association. He was also the Legend Award winner for “Partner of the Year” for HSRG. John resides in Wichita with his two daughters, Audrey & Mary, and doodles, Biscuit & Waffles.
